Jean-Paul Guerlain spent an entire four years developing this perfume, and only after achieving the perfect balance and interaction between its components, the fragrance Nahema was introduced to the public in 1979.

Jean-Paul Guerlain held a deep affection for the scent of roses and, as a tribute to this noble flower, he crafted a perfume composition that, despite its rich and diverse ingredients, is considered to be the finest rose fragrance. The aroma of Nahema is like a cloud of disparate particles floating in the air, which, as if by the wave of a magic wand, align into a graceful, elegant melody.

The top notes feature light scents of peach, aldehydes, bergamot, rose, and green notes. The floral heart blooms with bright hues of lilac, jasmine, hyacinth, ylang-ylang, lily of the valley, and a solo performance by the Bulgarian rose. The base notes include woody scents of sandalwood and vetiver, softened by sweet notes of passion fruit and vanilla.
