If you’re starting from scratch, make sure you only start with it in your nighttime routine. Apply to clean, dry skin before your moisturizer. Sensitive skin? Apply this cream avoiding the eye and mouth area. The skin goes through a process of getting used to retinol called retinization. In this process you may feel a little dryness, tightness, peeling… it is something very normal, and that is the reason why we advise you to start using it at first only at night, little by little, and with a previous step. that reinforces the barrier function on your skin.
Remember:
– Start using it only one day a week. It will be enough if you have never used it and your skin is not used to it.
– You will always, always have to apply SPF50+ protector the next morning. It is not negotiable.
