Basma Hair Powder

For thousands of years, women have used basma for dyeing hair, eyebrows, clothing, and, in ancient times, even animals. It was extensively utilized in cosmetics and medicine due to its anti-inflammatory properties and was employed in the treatment of boils and skin diseases, as well as for gum inflammations, sore throats, and tonsillitis. Basma was used as ink because it provides an intense blue-green color.

Basma powder is made from the leaves of the indigofera plant. This natural dye contains biologically active substances and a complex of vitamins. Basma is used only together with henna. It stimulates hair growth, improves hair structure, and strengthens it. If you are unable to dye your hair due to heightened sensitivity to the chemical ingredients in modern dyes, you can confidently use basma—it not only gives your hair a luxurious color and deep shade but also revitalizes your hair and scalp.

Mix the required amount of powder with warm water until a smooth consistency is achieved. Apply to hair and body for 5-10 minutes, then rinse off with warm water.
